Does the powdered organic fertilizer production line need to be equipped with a dryer?

2023/04/19

Powdered organic fertilizer is a commonly used form of organic fertilizer, which is made by fermenting and crushing poultry manure, straw and other materials. The fertilizer dryer can quickly dry organic fertilizers with high humidity to improve product quality. So for the powdered organic fertilizer production line, is it necessary to use a dryer? You know, adding a piece of equipment means adding an investment cost. The selling price of the dryer starts at 130,000, and the cost is still very high. Secondly, the dryer needs to be equipped with a heat source. Commonly used heat sources include natural gas, coal, electricity, etc., and the cost of heat sources is also relatively high.

The production process of powdery organic fertilizer: first adjust the moisture content of poultry and livestock manure, straw, mushroom residue and other materials to 50%-60%. During the fermentation process, the temperature of the stockpile rises to 70°, and the water is evaporated in large quantities. After 30-65 days of fermentation and aging, the moisture content of the organic fertilizer will be reduced to about 35%, and then through crushing, screening and other processes, the moisture content will be reduced to 30%, which meets the moisture requirements of the organic fertilizer industry standard. During this production process, no dryer is required at all.

In short, no matter from the investment cost or the production process of powdered organic fertilizer, the powdered organic fertilizer production line does not need to be equipped with a dryer at all.
